Like much of our clientele, Reclaimed Wood of Denver is committed to sustainability. Each aspect of our business involves sustainability at its core, from the raw materials we source to the steps we take in the production process. This is how we deliver a final product that feels totally natural and uncompromised.

Western Red Cedar.

Reclaimed’s sustainable practices begin with the western red cedar we source from our suppliers in the Denver, Colorado area. This wood species is the most common material for outdoor wood construction projects in the region. Cedar has a great ability to hold up under the powerful Colorado sun and mostly dry climate. However, this extreme climate is what aids the woods aging process, giving it a magnificent array of different patinas.

Our partners.

We partner with local companies to save lumber that would otherwise be discarded during demo for new construction projects. These suppliers understand the standards and principals our company operates by, and the ambitions we have for every piece of lumber we salvage. We take great pride in giving these materials a new life and future serving a new purpose.

Lumber preperation.

The techniques we use to mill the wood involve minor alterations and minimal waste of the original piece. With our paneling, we simply brush and clean the display surface before milling to achieve the final product. Much of the wood we sell is only cleaned and sold in its original state.

All Natural.

We’ve noticed a trend in the industry of very flimsy and unnaturally finished wood paneling products. We elect to preserve a more substantial thickness and avoid harsh stains or finishes. The amazing natural color spectrum of our reclaimed wood allows you to choose something perfect for your specific space. No one creates better colors than ones found in nature.
